Guest token
Truth Train works without an account. On the first API request, it creates a guest token in your browser's local storage. The server stores a hash of that token to recognize your player, not the token itself
Optional name
A display name is optional. The game asks for one when a run places on a leaderboard. You can edit or remove your name in settings
Runs
The game sends run events to the server for score verification. If the server is unavailable, the run uses a local seed and stays unranked
Leaderboard
Weekly and all-time leaderboards show server-verified runs. They list rank, name, distance, correct answers and date, and keep each player's best run
Analytics
Ahrefs analytics is used on truthtrain.net to measure site visits. It is not loaded on other domains
Delete my data
Choose Delete my data in game settings to remove server data linked to your guest token, including its leaderboard entry. Your best distance and streak are stored in this browser and can be removed by clearing the site's local storage
